Yummy Raw Vegan Truffles!

Hey everybody! Today I have a super delicious healthy raw overt-fat free recipe! The major aspect of the raw food life style that I love is that I can have "desert" foods any meal of the day!! These little truffle balls are delicious and will actually help you with your weight loss goal. If you are not a raw vegan or even a vegan for that matter you can still enjoy this recipe and know that you are fueling your body with healthy foods so now lets get started!

The ingredients you will need are the following:

-Food processor
-2 -1/4 cups of dried mulberries (set aside the 1/4 cup of mulberries)
-20 pitted medjool dates
-2 cups of freeze dried strawberries (if you do not like strawberries feel free to substitute for another freeze dried fruit)
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1-1/2 to 2 tsp of carob

Time for the part you have all been waiting for! The recipe!!!

1. Process 1/4 cup of dried mulberries until it becomes a powder consistency. Then power into a separate bowl.

2. Put all other ingredients into the food processor and process until all the ingredients clump together and stick together.

3. Form the mixture in to balls any size you want and roll the balls into the processed 1/4 of dried mulberries to prevent the outside of the balls from sticking to everything and also it just looks pretty!! :)

These are so yummy and the best part is you can eat as many as you want and you do not have to feel an ounce of guilt!

A quick tip is to make enough to share with others because trust me everyone is going to devour them and you want to make sure there is enough for you too! Also I know mulberries are quite expensive so I have found a great site that sells them in bulk I bought 10 pounds of them and they are so yummy (http://www.nuts.com/driedfruit/mulberries/premium.html). This is the cheapest source of them I have found so far! Enjoy this raw overt fat free truffle recipe!

I am always open to constructive criticism if you think there is a better way for me to do these recipes please let me know and I will take it into consideration!

Stay Fruity!
Camryn
